Raising a family is a tough job!
Mothers and fathers of the natural world have a lot of work to do to get their youngsters prepared and on their own before the first snow flies! 50% of most species’ young will not survive their first year, and when you only have 1 – 3 babies to begin with, the early groundwork is important to the survival of the species. But it’s easy to see that this year, this family is “Off To A Good Start!”
